LND was 1st established in LaMesa, CA and owned the former LaMesa Racquetball Club on Palm Ave, South of downtown.  The principals of Land & Design, Inc. assembled additional land and approached the City to revitalize the area with 60 new apartment units at the former Racquetball site. 

 

LND worked closely with the City of LaMesa to successfully entitle the project in 50 days.

 

The new units, completed in 2015, with their unique walkup design and live/work appeal, have been a HUGE success.  LND has begun entitlements on Phase II with 21 more units adjacent.  Construction is expected to begin Summer, 2019.

Included in Phase II is an approximately 8,000sf commercial office/retail/restaurant located atop the Quarry Phase I and II site and may house a new restaurant soon to come to LaMesa.
